First I bummed a cigarette from a real good lookin' broad
Next I took a walk to the slot machines
Singin' Marshall Tucker walkin' out to the parkin' lot
As I doused the place with gasoline

Then I raised my hands up and I said a couple words
Pulled the pin and pitched it right inside
Rainin' green confetti the biggest bang I ever heard
I barely made it out alive
With the shirt on my back and fist full of fives

Walkin' down Route 119 caught a couple dirty looks
From a man with a badge and another with a gun
I ain't worried everybody knows who is the real crook
