An instagram scammer tried to get my bank account information by pretending he was offering me $300 to write a song for his wife's birthday, which is on November 15th. Her name is Ashley, his name is Oopper, and I told him I'm not interested in his money but I would write a song for them. The best part was convincing him to call me, we had about a 10 minute "phone call" on the Instagram phone app. He said he was in Texas, and by voice, he was actually quite personable. I was surprised when he gave up on the bank information and agreed to let the song be a gift. I'm just not sure who it was a gift to, him or me. Oopper, if you're reading this, you're one of fifty two weeks.
