about

Co-written with Sarah Harralson

lyrics

Sometimes it’s hard to be this honest
Gotta' get this off my chest
Part of me wants to put it off
Won’t make it hurt any less

You ain't always been there for me
Loved me for who I am
Nobody loves me the way you love me
Or hurts me like you can

I keep hoping all these words will just come pouring out
But it sure seems like they won’t
Don’t know where don’t know when don't know how
About the only thing I know

Is someday I might regret
The words I left unsaid

I may not want to admit it
But there were good times with the bad
Makes it harder to speak my troubled mind
And I held back what I shouldn’t have

You could laugh say you already knew this
Or I might open up my mouth
And not be able to do this
